Website and Technology Accessibility Statement

Goal of Accessibility for All

Tata Consumer Products Canada, Inc. (“TCP CA”) aspires to provide a positive customer experience to all our customers, regardless of disability, and we aim to promote accessibility and inclusion. We applaud the goals intended  by our Federal and Provincial legislatures to promote a more accessible Canada in legislation including the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) (2019); The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA); The Accessibility for Manitobans Act; The Nova Scotia Accessibility Act; and others.

Our goal is to permit our customers to successfully gather information and transact business through our websites and other technology platforms. Whether you are using assistive technologies like a screen reader, a magnifier, voice recognition software, or captions for videos, we are taking significant steps so that  your use of TCP CA’s technology is a successful and enjoyable experience.

Ongoing Effort

We at TCP CA recognize that achieving accessibility compliance is a journey and requires continuous, ongoing efforts. The web content and accessibility guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) have been accepted as best practices for website developers and user experience developers. W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) have been adopted in many countries as a way to comply with legal accessibility requirements.  

As such, we have committed to our websites being designed, developed and operated in substantial conformance with WCAG Guidelines 2.0 and/or 2.1 at Levels A and AA, the generally recognized and accepted guidelines and/or standards for website accessibility. We have also  partnered with eSSENTIAL Accessibility to provide assistance with administering our accessibility program and governance.

Your ongoing support, including users of assistive technologies, will assist us in our ongoing proactive efforts to ensure accessibility of our website for all users.
