Indulgent Chocolate Mint Tea Latte

This loaded chocolate mint tea latte is prepared with oat milk and accented with dark chocolate and peppermint.

  • 4 cups (1 L) oat milk
  • 4 Indulgence Chocolate Mint tea bags
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) vegan dark chocolate chips
  • 4 tsp (20 mL) coconut sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp (4 mL) vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (250 mL) plant-based whipped topping
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) shaved vegan dark chocolate
  • 2 tbs (30 mL) crushed peppermint candies


  1. In small saucepan set over medium heat, heat oat milk until steaming and just starting to simmer. Add tea bags; decrease heat to low. Steep for 5 minutes. Discard tea bags. 
  2. Add chocolate chips, coconut sugar (if using), and vanilla. Let stand for 1 minute, and whisk until chocolate is melted and oat milk is frothy. 
  3. Divide tea among 4 cups. Garnish with whipped topping, shaved chocolate, and crushed candies.


  • Omit crushed peppermint candies and garnish instead with small candycane or peppermint stick.
  • Substitute coconut sugar with your favourite sweetener, and sweeten latte to taste.
